Fang Chut

Forensic medical student Jiang Li enters a puzzle and crime-solving game and transforms into an ancient character. In order to clear the level, Jiang Li teams up with the director Shen Xiuning and the chief constable Li Canglang. Relying on scientific methods, they uncover the unsolved mystery behind superstition, restore the truth, and eventually find their true love in the perilous case.

The story takes place in a chaotic era. Chen Guan, a poor scholar, gave up the imperial examination and became a novelist of strange tales. By chance, they met the taciturn young swordsman Cui Zhiyu. The two of them went to Changxing County where the snake disaster had occurred again. After going through numerous hardships and obstacles, they finally worked together to eliminate the evil Chong and saved their companions and the people.
