Cheng Xuh

This film depicts the growth story of three teenage friends, Jing Tian, Zi Ning and Hao Ren, telling how they overcome numerous challenges and difficulties to forge ahead and pursue their dreams. During the process, they got to know themselves, experienced the true meaning of friendship, learned how to handle the relationships with their parents and teachers, and how to summon up the courage to defend themselves

This film takes a local family from the 1960s as its main plot. Through the experiences of its members, it brings out the early kampong life and the later HDB flat life, spanning several decades. The film will also reflect how Singapore evolved from a society where dialects were the mainstream language to Chinese and then to English today, looking back on the flow
