This film takes a local family from the 1960s as its main plot. Through the experiences of its members, it brings out the early kampong life and the later HDB flat life, spanning several decades. The film will also reflect how Singapore evolved from a society where dialects were the mainstream language to Chinese and then to English today, and review the lost dialects in the process. It will also incorporate many of the director's personal experiences and feature several nostalgic songs.[Collapse]
