Tom and Jerry, the brothers from a middle-class family, enjoy a comfortable life, but they have many troubles. The father (played by Liang Zhiqiang) is an employee of a mobile phone development company, and the mother (played by Xiang Yun) is an editor of a well-known magazine. The couple are busy with work all day long and have no time to care about their child's feelings at all. In the eyes of this couple of parents, their children are mischievous and full of flaws, which simply drive them crazy. Tom's good friend, Chengcai (played by Hong Cijian), was born into a single-parent family. His father (played by Wong Yee Leung) has a low level of education and limped on one leg when he was young in a fight.
