Chris (played by Joseph Gordon-Levitt) was once a dazzling boy: as an ice hockey star, he came from a wealthy family, had a beautiful girlfriend, and his life was as smooth as a broad road. A car accident, however, destroyed everything. He suffered from temporary amnesia and spent every day in an uncontrollable state. Even small questions like where to put the car keys, Chris couldn't remember with certainty. Now he has become the gatekeeper of the bank. The only friend by his side is the blind Louis (played by Jeff Daniels), who guides Chris on how to deal with life with his cheerful outlook on life. Someone tried every possible way to get close to Chris, and that was Gary (played by Matthew Goode). Gary was very concerned about Chris's situation. He introduced him to a girlfriend to awaken his inner desire to return to his previous life. More importantly, his goal was to conspired with him to participate in the bank robbery.
