He, along with the lotus-picking girl Mengyue (played by Fu Mengni) and the son of the town mayor, Yulang (played by Hu Wei), formed the Divine Slaying Heavenly Team and worked together to break through the Nine-Bend Yellow River Array and protect the local people.
