One day in April at the end of the 16th century, in the Kyoto soaked by a torrential rain, in a rather unremarkable mansion, the life of a generation of celebrities was coming to an end. The owner of the house is Sen no Rikyu (played by Ichikawa Kairozo), a world-renowned tea ceremony master.
