After being fired by his company, feeling frustrated, he sold all his possessions and went to Las Vegas to start his slow suicide plan. He plans to drink until he dies within a few weeks. In the bizarre Las Vegas, drunk, he met the prostitute Sarah (Elizabeth?) Su Elisabeth Shue? (Played). Sarah led an equally unfortunate life: her freedom was controlled by pimps and she failed to escape repeatedly. Ben and Sarah spent the night together.
