Louis is a novice drama director in Sydney. His first job was to participate in the Sydney City's "What to Say for the Rehabilitation of the Mentally Ill" program, where mentally ill patients performed an opera. The plan was thrown into chaos from the very beginning by a patient named Roy, who fantasized that he was Mozart. Not a single patient could sing, nor did anyone understand what opera was. After several farces, the performance finally began. During the performance, many unexpected situations emerged, but they were all eventually resolved by incredible and crazy methods.
