After the end of World War II, a nation was completely divided into two countries with different systems, leaving the people who were wandering in foreign lands longing for their homeland, not knowing where it was. In the 1970s, Song Hao (played by Shin Iwura), a Korean who was born in Japan since childhood, returned to his hometown of Korea, which he had never set foot in, as ordered by his father, to support the construction of the communist cause. Who would have thought that this parting would last for 14 centuries? Matsuhiro started a family in his hometown, and his once beloved younger sister, Rie (played by Sakura Ando), also grew up.
