Sophie Hall (played by Amanda Seyf) is an investigator for The New Yorker. Her fiance Victor is busy opening a restaurant. They came to Verona, Italy for a trip. However, Victor was so absorbed in savoring delicious food that he neglected to take care of her. As a result, the relationship between the two was fraught with conflicts. Sophie strolled under the Wishing wall and found that many people were writing letters to Juliet. She was very curious and followed the woman who was collecting the letter. She found that four ladies were playing Juliet and replying to answer emotional questions. Sophie was moved and decided to join their team. She read a letter from 50 years ago: Claire Smith (played by Vanessa Redgrave) recounted a story of the past with regrets. Sophie replied to the letter carefully.
