Young and capable Rovina Price (played by Halle Berry) is a reporter for The New York Express. She upholds justice and hates evil. After a report of a Senate gay sex scandal was taken down, Rowina flew into a rage and quit her job in a fit of anger. That night, Rowina met Grace, her childhood friend whom she hadn't seen for many years. But a week later, she learned that Grace had died a tragic death. Before her death, Grace mentioned the name of the advertising tycoon Halison Hill (played by Bruce Willis), with whom she met online and had an extramarital affair.
