But behind this utopia lies a dark secret: First, there is a floating female corpse in the crystal-clear water. Another strange fact is unfolding: all children are aging rapidly. Soon, everyone found that they were getting old - every half an hour - and it seemed that they had no way to leave this small bay. Shyamalan said that this film was inspired by the French graphic novel "Sandcastle" created by Pierre Oscar Levy and artist Frederik Peeters.
