Eichmann (played by Thomas Kretschmann) was born into an ordinary family in Germany. Due to his appearance, Eichmann was often ridiculed as a Jew when he was a child, and thus he had a special aversion to the Jewish race. During World War II, Eichmann was favored by Hitler, who entrusted him with the important Jewish migration plan. Between 1937 and 1942, most of the plans for the transportation and massacre of Jews were formulated and carried out by Eichmann. After World War II, the defeat of the Nazis led Eichmann to a long life on the run. However, in 1961, Eichmann's whereabouts were discovered by the intelligence agency Mossad, and he was secretly arrested. As this arrest had no legal support, it caused controversy internationally and led to diplomatic disputes.[Collapse]
