With his wisdom and courage, he overcame all objections and opened a brothel, earning himself a place in the small town. As time went by, John's business became increasingly prosperous. Even the well-known top star, Mrs. Miller (played by Julie Christie), came to join in. During their daily interactions, the charming and promising John caught Miller's attention.
