During the Korean War, on a certain highland, fierce battles were underway. Wang Cheng (played by Liu Shilong), a Chinese volunteer soldier who had just been discharged from the hospital, upon returning to his unit, demanded to join the battle and showed a letter from his father, Wang Fubiao (played by Zhou Wenbin), encouraging him to serve the country. Wang Fubiao was Wang Wenqing's old comrade-in-arms. He also knew that Wang Cheng was Wang Fubiao's son. Wang Cheng sacrificed his life heroically in battle.
