The Republic of China period. Four drunkards in the capital city, Zhao Daman (played by Jiang Wu), Qian Erbao (played by Liu Yunlong), Sun Sanqiang (played by Zhang Yue), and Li Biao (played by He Bing), witnessed a progressive intellectual and his daughter being killed on the street. Enraged, they killed the murderer and caused a huge disaster - the deceased was the only son of Jiang Shiqi, a traitor and bully in the capital. When the four of them were fleeing from the thugs of the Jiang family, they unexpectedly received banknotes and a map of the Jiang Mansion sent by the governor of the Jiang family (Ren Ming). Although they did not understand the intention behind it, they decided to kill Jiang Shiqi immediately. At the moment of action, Zhao Biao learned that his wife and children had been kidnapped by Jiang Shiqi. He came alone to the Jiang residence and was imprisoned. Zhao Daman, in extreme panic, hid in a small store and was willing to be taken in by the promiscuous owner's wife. Qian Erbao and Zhang Sanqiang, unable to wait for their brother, turned back to look for him. They then encountered a thug from the Jiang family. In a critical situation, they were rescued by Jiang Shiqi's disciple, Ouyang Jiedan (Yuan Yin). Only then did they realize the intention of the Jiang family's chief steward. He had originally intended to use someone as a tool to kill and seize the Jiang family's property. The three of them then arrived at Qian Erbao's hometown, but the Jiang family's thugs followed closely behind, and a fierce battle soon broke out.[Collapse]
