March 26, 1991, Daegu, South Korea. Five boys from Chengxi Primary School went up the mountain together and never returned. This incident caused a huge stir. Despite the police dispatching tens of thousands of search personnel, they still found nothing. The whereabouts of the children have become an unsolvable mystery. Four years later, one day, the once highly successful TV producer Kang Ji-seong was exiled by the headquarters to the remote Daegu on suspicion of fraud. The aloof and proud man found that the local people were still paying attention to the "disappearance of the Frog boy" case that had been forgotten by many. In order to turn the situation around as soon as possible, Jiang Zhisheng joined hands with Professor Huang, who had been following this case closely. The long-standing case seemed to have a new turn for the better... This film is adapted from a real case that occurred in Daegu, South Korea in 1991. The case is known as the "Disappearance of the Frog Boy" and is one of the three unsolved mysteries in South Korea. The body of the missing boy was discovered in 2002.
