Bradley Edward Manning, a United States Army Private First Class. Taking advantage of his position, he illegally downloaded 250,000 confidential documents of the US government and handed them over to wikileaks. He boasted about this on the Internet to another hacker, Adrian Lamo, and was reported. In 2013, Manning was sentenced to 35 years in a military prison. After being sentenced, she announced that she would become a woman and changed her name to Chelsea Manning. In 2016, Manning underwent gender reassignment surgery in prison. In January 2017, former US President Obama reduced her sentence before leaving office. Manning was released in May of the same year. In March 2019, Manning was arrested again. On April 22, 2019, the US federal court rejected Manning's bail appeal and she will remain in prison.[Collapse]
