< p> In 1949, in the war-torn Italian city of Naples, orphans Camine and Celestina relied on each other for survival. Two children boarded a naval vessel and crossed the Atlantic Ocean to New York in search of Celestina's long-lost sister. But upon arriving in a strange country, the address in hand failed to guide the way of the loved ones, and a new adventure began. This film is based on Fellini's long-forgotten script, but it downplays the "Fellini-style" restlessness and eccentricity. Instead, it is warm and simple, as if it were a traditional Italian three-act opera. Through the eyes of two Italian children, the director uses a neorealist touch to immerse the fairy tale filter, salvaging the dust of hope from the post-war trauma and wrinkles, leading the audience to travel back to over seventy years ago, immerses them in the ruins of Naples, the small-world transoocean ships, and the New York City brimming with the atmosphere of the New World. < /p>[Collapse]
