Mr. Oddman (portrayed by Geoffrey Rush), an eccentric and connoisseur auctioneer at a top art auction house, has almost never failed in his decadal-year career. His greatest hobby is collecting portraits of women from various periods. Billy (played by Donald Sutherland) helps him acquire the paintings he likes at a low price, while the young man Robert (Jim Sturgess) assists him in identifying the authenticity of antiques through technical means. One day, a mysterious female client, Claire (played by Sylvia Hoeks), entered his life with a large amount of antique heritage. Claire claimed to suffer from agoraphobias and thus never showed up. However, this special way of communication gradually fascinated Oddman, and he even turned to Robert's methods of pursuing women for help. One day, Oldman finally gave up his original life, but a shocking conspiracy was quietly awaiting him.[Collapse]
