This is a time-travel drama that reveals the past and present of Chunshen Jun Huang Xie and Empress Dowager Xuan Mi Yue. It tells the story of a nobleman in the State of Chu during the Spring and Autumn and Warring States Periods, surnamed Huang and named Xie, who was the first of the Four Princes of the Warring States Period and served as the prime minister of Chu. King Kaolie of Chu bestowed upon him the title of Chunshen Jun. Later, he was ambushed and his entire family was wiped out. Chunshen Jun was reminded by his guest Zhu Ying and thus escaped the disaster. He later fled to Damao Mountain in Jiangxi Province for refuge. On a full moon night, the sky underwent a strange change. Huang Xie was unexpectedly transported to the modern era and met Huang Xiaotong.
