Shortlisted for the New Generation Competition section of the 68th Berlin International Film Festival. The film is written and directed by Lahua Jia, a graduate of Beijing Film Academy. It is supervised by the renowned director Wanma Caidan, and photographed by the famous cinematographer Lyu Songye. Chen Zhongguo from Youth Film Studio and Meng Zhong from the Literature Department are the producers. Adapted from the short story of the same name by Cailang Dongzhu, it tells the story of Wangzha, a little boy living in a rural area of Xizang, who has always wanted to own a pair of beautiful rain boots.
