Yoichi Shusei (played by Tsuyoshi Ayano), who studied judo in college, was seconded to Hokkaido as a detective due to his talent. On days without competitions, he spent his days dealing with boring chores, and his righteous feelings had nowhere to be released. Under the guidance of the police station's top detective Murai (played by Pierre Taki), the previously black-and-white star suddenly had an Epiphany. He vigorously developed informants and frantically accumulated points, thus becoming a capable member of the Hokkaido police force. He is on good terms with the underworld boss, Katsunori Kuroiwa (played by Shidou Nakamura), and the drug dealer, Taro Yamabe (played by Young Dais), among other figures in the gray area. He relies on them to confiscate firearms to meet the police station's targets and even uses public funds to sell drugs and smuggl firearms. Zhu Xing thought he was doing something just, but he never expected that he was getting further and further away from his dream... This film is based on the true story of former Hokkaido police officer Keisuke Inaba.[Collapse]
