IFC Films has acquired the North American distribution rights for "No Man's Land" (tentative translation), starring Frank Grillo, Andy McDowell and George Lopez and directed by Conor Allyn. The film tells the story of Bill Greer, a border guard between the United States and Mexico, and his son Jackson, who accidentally kill a Mexican boy while on patrol. Bill attempts to take full responsibility, but is exposed by the Texas cavalry, Ramirez. Jackson had no choice but to flee south. He crossed deserts and mountains in search of the forgiveness of the deceased's father. The film will be released in North America next year.[Collapse]
