This story tells of a series of mysterious incidents of people going missing that occurred in a newly developed tourist area. The protagonist, Hong Yu, is a novelist. During his creative process, he encountered a bottleneck. While going out for inspiration, he happened to come to the tourist area of Shilin Mountain. And the disappearance of people that had not occurred for several years reappeared in the mysterious and desolate village of the tourist area. The missing person was none other than Hong Yu's friend. Through both open and covert investigations, Hong Yu discovered that the disappearance case in the deserted village was related to the high-level officials in the tourist area.
