During the Warring States Period, in order to grow up to be an outstanding ninja, Rantaro (played by Kiyoshiro Kato), a boy from a poor family, entered the top ninja school, Ninjutsu Academy, to study. Rantaro, a student in the one-year leaf group (one-year youdaoplaceholder0 group), meets the gluttonous and sleepy shinbei (played by Fumita Kimura), the orphan Kirimaru (played by Ryoichi Hayashi) who has multiple part-time jobs, and many friends of the same age. The little ninja eggs' daily study is both intense and interesting, with constant antics.
