The story takes place in Paris in 1860, when Mr. Dufour (Andre Gabrielo Gabriello) takes his wife (Yanemarken Jane Marken), daughter Onliette (Sylvia Bataye Sylvia Bataille), and the little boy Anatole (Paul Temps) who helps in the store to the countryside for a holiday, their destination is a small hotel run by Uncle Bran (played by Renoir Jean Renoir). The scenery of the country is very pleasant, and the temperature is just right. After dinner, Mr. Duver takes Anadore to go fishing, while Henry (Georges D'Arnoux) and Herdorf accompany Mrs. Duver and Onliette to go boating on the lake. It was impossible to know that there was a spark of passion between Mrs. Duff and Herdorf, and Onliette was unable to match Henry's enthusiastic offensive and fell in his arms.[Collapse]
