Lionel (played by Edward Norton) has a very tragic past. His mother passed away when he was very young. With no one to rely on, Lionel was sent to an orphanage. Fortunately, here he met a man named Frank (played by Bruce Willis). After all these years of struggling in the orphanage, Frank has been providing protection and assistance to Lionel. After leaving the orphanage, Frank set up a private detective agency where Lionel worked. One day, Frank went to deliver a very dangerous and mysterious document. Little did he know that this mission cost him his life. Frank's death dealt a huge blow to Lionel, but it wasn't the time to mourn yet.
