Orphan Jane Eyre had been living with her aunt since childhood and suffered greatly from her aunt and her cousin. Later, she was sent to a church school run by Mr. Brocklehurst. At school, Jane Eyre was still discriminated against, but she met her classmate Helen and felt the warmth of friendship for the first time. Helen, however, was punished for disobeying Mr. Brockhurst

The story takes place in a small village in the western United States. The father is going to be away from home for a while and has instructed his eldest son to take good care of his mother and younger brother. An old yellow dog that accidentally broke into the house became a member of the family. Although the old yellow dog was old, it loyally and bravely protected this family.
