Li Han

During the Zhenguan period of the Tang Dynasty, a rebellion broke out in Xiliang. Li Shimin led his troops in person and was besieged in Suoyang City by the enemy commander Su Baotong. The commander, Xue Rengui, was also killed by Su Baotong's poisoned sword and was on the brink of death. Xue Dingshan, the son of Xue Rengui, upon learning of his father's death, joined the Second Army to quell the rebellion and headed west to rescue his father.
