Over the years, all kinds of people have been constantly getting promoted, but Angela Walker, as an outstanding employee, has never been able to get promoted. As a black female employee, she felt that such a result was unfair. Under careful planning, Angela decided to break the deadlock and change her own destiny with her own hands.

The film is screened at the Sundance Film Festival, starring Sarah Silverman. Lanny has a happy family, but she is not content. She uses extramarital affairs, drug abuse, disappearance and so on to obtain short-term excitement and pleasure. When she tried hard to return to her original life, she found it was not that easy.
