The final day of the trial of the Lin family murder case that has shocked the whole of Hong Kong is approaching. When the jury is about to leave the court to discuss, one of the members, Xu Lisheng (played by Louis Koo), suddenly receives the news that his daughter, Yin Yin (played by Amy), has been kidnapped. The mysterious person asks Lisheng, who was once an international hypnosis authority, to use hypnosis to make the jury find the defendant guilty of murder
