Plot:
This film, along with Truffaut's "The 400 Blows", is hailed as one of the pioneering works of the French New Wave of cinema. The penniless street thug Michelle (Jean-Paul?) Belmondo stole a car from Marseille. On his way to Paris, he was caught by the police for speeding. To escape, he shot and killed a police officer.
