Ma Weiwei

In October 1937, during the all-out War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, a case occurred in Yan 'an where Huang Kegong (played by Wang Kai), the captain of the Sixth Team of the anti-Japanese Military and Political University, shot and killed a young woman for forcing her to marry. The murderer, Huang Kegong, was a meritorious soldier of the Red Army's regimental commander. The victim was 16-year-old Liu Xi (played by Ma Weiwei), who fled from Taiyuan to Yan 'an to join the revolution.
