At the end of the Northern Song Dynasty, treacherous officials were in power and the people lived in misery. Zhuge Zhengwo (played by Lin Jiahua), who was once the commander of the Divine Detective Bureau, was a force of justice in the imperial court, but he had been frustrated for many years. He hoped to regain the command of the Divine Constables to punish the wicked and rectify the law.
