Kang Xiya

In 1935, the Nationalist Government, in order to prepare for the logistics and economy of long-term warfare, forcibly introduced legal tender and stopped the use of silver dollars, military notes, customs gold notes and other currencies, making preparations for resisting the Japanese invasion of China. In response to this, the Japanese military secretly produced a large amount of counterfeit legal tender in Harbin, disrupting the financial and trade order. The Japanese army called it the "Black Cat Project"
