Based on the 2007 Taliban hostage-taking incident of South Korea, it tells the story of negotiation expert Jung Jae-ho (played by Hwang Jung-min) and National Intelligence Service agent Park Dae-sik (played by Hyun Bin), who are in charge of Middle East affairs, joining forces to negotiate with terrorists to rescue the hostages after the South Korean hostage-taking incident occurred in Afghanistan.
