This is a Japanese triptych about sex, food and hidden desires. The protagonist, Kurita, carries a box of Chinese chestnuts and experiences three adventures about food and lust: from natto, Mapo tofu to ramen, they stimulate the taste buds and also reveal the undercurrents behind the seemingly peaceful marital life.
