The film mainly tells the story of the Shaolin martial arts monk Dalong, who is obsessed with martial arts and competitive. When competing for the position of a disciple in the Dharma Academy, he was fierce. His master thought that although his martial arts were strong, his martial arts knowledge was still shallow. So he gave the position to Dalong's younger brother and asked Dalong to return to lay life and go down the mountain to cultivate in the mundane world.
