Ding Jiay

"Autumn Water and Long Sky" is a screen work by director Huang Yigong in the early 1980s. It won the "Golden Bell Award" of Taiwan Television in the year of its broadcast and established the leading roles of the drama's leading actors, Hsiao Fang-fang and Liu De-kai, as the leading figures of Taiwan's TV art films. Twenty years later, Huang Yigong remade the film of Xia Meihua, a master screenwriter in Taiwan's television industry

The story takes place in a certain place in the Jiangnan region during the Cultural Revolution.
