The story takes place in a small pagan village in Estonia, where werewolves, plagues and ghosts are rampant. In order to survive in the cold and dark winter, the villagers here have no taboos and steal everywhere. They sold out their consciences and scoured everywhere for a creature called "Kurat" that could help them steal.
