Wan Guanyuan is a century-old soy sauce brand in Foshan. The owner, Wan Qishan (played by Ng Tai Yung), and his wife, Xi Derong (played by Gung Chi Yan), adhere to the principle of "passing on to men, not women, and within the family, not outside". However, a toxic soy sauce incident forces him to agree to let his two daughters, Xia Xiaoman (played by Zhu Chenli) and Ye Xiyao (played by Gung Ka Sin), join in.
