Steven Taylor (played by Michael Douglas) is a millionaire who dominates Wall Street. However, money and status can never satisfy him. What he longs for is the loyal love of his wife Emily (played by Gwyneth Paltrow). But he has never been reluctant to express his love for her. Emily, who is both beautiful and talented, doesn't want to be a mere ornamental figure by her husband's side.
