Many years ago, in a remote area of China, a blind child was learning to play the piano from his master. The master told him that there was a prescription that could cure his eyes and bring him back to life. However, this prescription could only be taken out of the piano case after he broke a thousand strings; otherwise, it would be ineffective. After his master's death, the blind child broke one string after another, disregarding the rest of his life. Under the tempering of time, the young man became an old lute player and was respectfully called "Shen Shen" (played by Liu Zhongyuan) by the villagers.
