This film is adapted from the original manga by Chie Shinku. Kazuko Murasaki (played by Rina Takeda), a 26-year-old office worker, is extremely dedicated and efficient at work, all for the sake of enjoying her private wine-tasting time. She was born with a sharp tongue for alcohol. Every time she finished her monotonous nine-to-five job, she didn't rush home to rest. Instead, she would wander around the streets and alleys of the city, looking for a place to have a drink amid the hustle and bustle. Whenever she saw a small restaurant she liked, she would lift the wine curtain, walk in and sit down, then carefully observe the recommended menu for the day and think about what drinks to pair with it.
