Twenty years ago, a surgery led to the estrangement between two pediatric specialist interns, Kuang Congxin (played by Ma Guoming) and Xu Ganfeng (played by Zheng Jia Ying). As time passed, Cong Xin became a pediatric surgery consultant at the top hospital "Annie Hospital", while Gan Feng, who was determined to defend life, settled in a second-tier hospital. The two had been going their separate ways, but unexpectedly, they met again due to a liver transplant surgery, and their fates were thus intertwined.
