In 1912, Xiang Jingyu studied in the provincial first Women's normal School. After graduation, he went back to his hometown to establish Xupu Girls' School. Later, the police went to France for a work-study program and formed an "alliance with Cai Hesen." After returning to the police in 1921, he was elected a member of the CPC Central Committee and the first women's minister at the second CPC National Congress, and a member of the political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee at the third CPC National Congress. Subsequently, Xiang Jingyu served as secretary of the Kuomintang Central Women's Movement Committee. In 1925, Xiang Jingyu led and organized the May 30th Movement, which shocked China and foreign countries. after the failure of the Great Revolution, he insisted on staying in Wuhan, which shouldered the heavy burden of the Hubei Provincial CPC Committee. In 1928, Xiang Jingyu was arrested by the French patrol room. He died a heroic death on May 1 of the same year at the age of 32[Collapse]
