The story takes place in Kowloon Walled City in the late 1950s. Both Zuo Gouquan (played by Chan Chun-pang) and Duan Yingfeng (played by Yuen Wai-ho) have fathers who are renowned masters of Bagua Quan. However, a conspiracy causes Duan Yingfeng to lose his father, while Zuo Gouquan's father becomes a murderer and takes his own life unavenged. As a result, Zuo Gouquan gets separated from his sister and leaves Kowloon Walled City to seek a living in Macau. Fifteen years passed in the blink of an eye.
