The martial arts drama "Iron Blood Flag Gate" has a circuitous plot, intricate character relationships, and an unexpected ending that is highly captivating. The plot tells of the Grand Banner Sect led by Yun Yi (Guan Haishan), which retired to the desert after failing to protect Emperor Bing of the Song Dynasty. Fifteen years later, they intended to return to the martial arts world, but their mission failed because their son Yun Keng (Chen Tingwei) fell in love with Leng Qingping, the daughter of an enemy family. Yi was forced to retire again, while Yun Zheng (Liu Qingyun) and Tie Zhongtang (Shi Xiu) were implicated by this incident and expelled from the sect. Tang and Zheng were pursued by their enemies. Tang fell off a cliff and was saved by Shui Lingguang (played by Mak Chui Hin) and her mother, Mu Rousong (played by Ma Hailun). Tang and Guang fell in love, only to find out that they were half-siblings. Zheng, on the other hand, met Wen Daidai (played by Liu Shuhua). Daidai was originally the adopted daughter of Situ Xiao, an enemy of the Daqimen. She got close to Zheng to find out the whereabouts of the Daqimen. Later, Daidai was moved by Zheng's true feelings and reformed. Later on, Tang and Zheng encountered one strange encounter after another, and their martial arts skills improved greatly. However, Zheng misunderstood Tang's betrayal of the secret of the Great Flag Gate and risked his life to venture into the Changchun Island of the Moon Queen of the Japanese Emperor. There were numerous dangers, and Tang even discovered the truth about his and Guang's origin... The plot unfolds with one climax after another.[Collapse]
